The course “European Project Culture” developed under the framework of Jean Monnet EUROPROC project has been successfully integrated into the Master study programs of the Faculty of Biology. The first classes taught by Lesia Zhurakovska, associate professor of the Chair of World History and International Relations, were devoted to the project of European integration gradually evolving in post-WWII historical context. The students got an idea of the key stages of European Union creation and discussed possible scenarios of its further development, including expansion to the East, as well as core challenges currently faced by European community.

The problem of Brexit provided up-to-date material for practical trainings within the course, such as business simulations investigating the attitudes of British political circles and wide society towards leaving the EU.
