Lesia Zhurakovska, academic coordinator of Jean Monnet “European Project Culture” co-funded by the ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME of the European Union, took part in Biennial Jean Monnet Conference held on November 27-28, 2017 in Brussels. The event was organized by the European Commission together with Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (ЕАСЕА).
On the first day of the conference there was a meeting with the coordinators of Jean Monnet projects awarded support in 2017. The issues concerning project implementation and management were discussed as well as the best examples of the Jean Monnet projects previously awarded were reviewed. In addition the ideas of the future development of the program were considered. The second day of the conference was devoted to the future of European integration including the challenges that the European community should react to. Among the challenges there is Brexit, migration crisis, economic and ecological problems. Politicians, academicians and representatives of analytic centres in Europe, Asia, Australia were involved and it greatly contributed to the discussion of future EU. The participation of ZNU representative allowed to obtain some valuable practical instructions concerning the project implementation. The course elaborated within the project will be delivered to graduates and postgraduates in the second term of 2017/2018 academic year
