November 04, the second session of the V phase of the international Ukrainian-Polish project “Innovative University and Leadership” was launched. The project aims to train the agents of changes in the Ukrainian HE system. Project participants selected by means of tough open contest would spend a month at Warsaw and Jagiellonian Universities attending trainings and individual consultations in modern university development strategies design. ZNU is represented by postdoc Victoria Meniaylo. The first day of the program was devoted to the basic principles of the Warsaw University development strategy planning presented by the former Vice-Rector, Prof. Anna Hyza-Poleshchuk. They also attended a fundamental lecture by the President of International Educational Politics Fund and one of the project’s co-coordinators Taras Finikov highlighting the major tendencies of the European educational system development and strategical planning development perspectives in the national HEIs. The project would result in the participants’ building up and implementing their own microprojects aimed at their universities’ or the national HE system’s strategic development.
