Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University held II International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Third Degree of Higher Education: Development and Tendencies” on November 17-19, 2017. The representatives of Polish universities and some regional universities of Ukraine took part in the conference. Zaporizhzhya National University was represented by Viktoriia Meniailo, chief of research unit, key staff member of EUROPROC project.

Att the plenary meeting she presented the report under the title “Project Activity of a Higher Educational Establishment as a Preparation Form of Intended Specialists for Innovative Research Work and Integration into European Education and Research Area”. Her speech was greatly acknowledged as Viktoriia presented EUROPROC project to the conference participants. The project initiated under the Jean Monnet Activities within the ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME started in ZNU in September 2017. The objective of the project is to develop students’ competences necessary to implement European education and research projects in close cooperation with EU partners. Under the project a new Jean Monnet module “Basics of European Project Activity” will be introduced for the graduates and postgraduates. In the beginning the course will be delivered for graduates of the biology faculty in the second term of 2017/2018 academic year. It is worth mentioning that a similar Jean Monnet Module “Project Management in EU ” is being realized in Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University. Its coordinator is Natalia Pavlikha, head of the Department of International Economic Relations and Project Management, doctor of economic sciences, professor. This fact will greatly contribute to the mutual cooperation and both projects implementation as well as it helps to hold joint events.
