”Requirements for the materials in the collection of scientific works "Problems of Modern Psychology" 

According to the WAC of Ukraine all the materials should conform to the following requirements

  • Any scientific material should include: a well-stated and grounded thesis, exposing the general issue and its relationship to other important scientific goals;

  • The body of an article should include scientific references to the resources being used the theoretical background for the research;

  • Any unresolved or unexplained problems of the study should be noted in a comprehensive form;

  • The aims of research should be noted according to the topic of the paper;

  • The conclusion should consist of well-stated and grounded facts collected during the process of research;

  • The final part of the paper should sum up the main conclusion and achievements, and speak up on the perspectives of future research;

Requirements:

  • The UDC index is stated on the top left side of an article. The full name, academic rank, the unabridged version of the place of employment is put under the UDC index on the right side of a page. The name of an article is centered. Three annotations written in: Ukrainian, Russian and English (200 words) are obligatory; keywords and terms are to be translated into three languages as well; the English version of an abstract is to be preceded by the English translation of the article title and the authors surname. .

  • The minimum wordage – 0,5 printed pages. (12 pages and more);

  • формат файлу – WORD (doc, docx). Documents extension – WORD (doc, docx). Page Format – A4. Margins: left – 2 cm, right - 2 cm, top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm. the recommended font – Times New Roman, size – 14, line spacing – 1.5: graphs and pictures (JPG extension only) and tables (word) can be placed directly into the document or to be placed in separate files;

  • The text on pictured and illustrations should not exceed the size of the letters of the main body by more than 50%, hence all the graphics are to be edited accordingly. References and citations are to be indicated in square brackets [12,p.24];

  • The Bibliography is to be edited according to the new HAC of Ukraine requirements (Ukraine WAC Bulletin. – 2009. - № 5), in accordance with GOST 7.1: 2006 the “System of Standards of informational, librarian and editorial publishing. Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General rules and requirements.”

  • References shown in square brackets [12, p.24];

  • References made out in accordance with new requirements of HAC of Ukraine (Bulletin of VAK Ukraine. - 2009. - № 5), according to GOST 7.1: 2006 "System of standards on information, librarianship and publishing. Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of assembly "

All applications are to be sent by e-mail and should include:

  • The electronic version of an article (the name of the file should coincide with your own name);
  • Information on authors (full name, academic rank, employment status, e-mail address, home address, contact information) – should be listed on a separate page at the end of an article;
  • The review of a supervisor (for graduate students);

The editorial staff is legitimate to reject any submitted materials that do not meet the listed requirements.
